"Passionate About Online Marketing"
Although Fred Weismiller has a quiet demeanor, when speaking to him about Brian’s online marketing abilities he exudes enthusiasm. And why shouldn’t he? Fred and his wife Carol sold their home in just two and a half months—quite remarkable in this cool real estate market.
“We chose Brian over the other agents we interviewed because he was easy to talk to and we got the feeling he was very honest and knew what he was doing. But the biggest reason we chose Brian was because he knew how to market on the Internet. The other agents we talked to either didn’t have a web presence or were just in the beginning stages of creating one. Brian had a very detailed marketing plan so we could see exactly what he was going to do for us and he explained how we could monitor the results. To us, this was a true professional.”

“Featuring Our Home on The Chase Team Website Helped Us Get it Sold!”
Selling a home isn’t always a quick process but having their home featured on The Chase Team website helped get Jan and Millie Hertzfeld’s home sold. By using Realtor.com and the Featured Home tool, Brian was able to get them more exposure than they expected.
Mrs. Hertzfeld liked the low-key technique that Brian offered. She felt that he was very easy to work with and that made the process easier. Selling a home can often be a stressful time, but with Brian’s help, the Hertzfeld’s felt no pressure. And this is exactly what they were looking for when they decided to sell their home.
“Brian really knows the area,” noted Mrs. Hertzfeld. She commended his knowledge and professionalism in helping them sell their home and make it an easier transaction.

"We Were so Impressed with Lauri’s Knowledge of the Market"
When Jim and Suzanne Cassidy were looking for a home to buy in another town, they chose Lauri to help find the right one for them. They couldn’t be happier with their choice.
“Although we had bought and sold homes in the past, we had never worked with a buyers agent. I was a little unsure of the commitment but we signed on with Lauri. In retrospect, it was the best decision we could have made to sort through and buy a home in the Charlottesville area. Lauri worked with us to gain an understanding of the type of home that would meet our needs, desires, and the price range we were interested in buying. She didn't push us toward some predetermined objective of her own, but worked with us to sort through the areas, neighborhoods, and homes on the market that were best for us.”
The Cassidys found Lauri to be very professional and easy to work with. Suzanne said, “We felt very comfortable with her knowledge and skills. We’ve worked with other Realtors and we consider her one of the best.”
“Lauri helped us negotiate a good contract and represented us well with the sellers agent. She was always on time, communicative, never pushy, and was a pleasure to deal with.”
Being presented with a framed drawing of their home as a closing gift meant a lot to the Cassidys. It was the coup de grace of a successful buying experience.

“Brian Had the Answers to All Our Questions”
Selling a home in a Buyers Market isn’t an easy thing to do yet Ted and Lynne Deucher found the process to be painless. They attribute this to the skills and expertise Brian exhibited while selling their home for them. Ted said, “He knew all the answers to our questions. He’s very knowledgeable and has great experience.”
The Deuchers had used Brian to help them buy the house they just moved into so they decided to use his services again when selling their previous home. Lynne said, “I was impressed with how Brian kept us up-to-date on everything he was doing to get our home sold. He was always giving us advice on what to do to get it sold.”
“I was struck by how thorough Brian was. He is very careful and handles all the details,” Ted remarked. “We had every confidence that things would be done correctly.” What’s more, the Deuchers were thrilled that Brian made sure they knew of all the options they had available to them.
Ted’s parting comment was, “I would recommend Brian to anyone. We’ve dealt with all kinds of agents and he’s one of the best. You just trust him. And we loved having the feedback from the agents who showed the home. This was very helpful.”

“We Were Kept Well Informed During the Home Purchase Process”
From their home in Colorado, Brian’s newest clients worked with him to build their new home. Being so far away could have been a difficult situation because they would not be able to foresee the construction progress. Brian, however, sent them pictures throughout the process and kept them well informed during all stages of the home purchase process. They never had to worry about how the construction was going.
This couple said they enjoyed working with Brian because he was “quick to pick up on what we wanted in a house and was flexible and accommodated of our schedule.” As you can imagine this was very important to a couple who had limited time to find a home. The couple also noted that they would definitely recommend Brian and plan to work with him in the future.

"My Home Sold Within a Matter of Days - In This Market!"
David Howe's home on Ravenscroft Way sold within a matter of days after putting it on the market. This is no small feat considering the market these days.
What impressed David most was Brian's responsiveness. He said, "We're not from Charlottesville but Brian made himself available to us. He was always there when we needed him." They found Brian to be very professional and very easy to work with. In fact, David described him as "a good guy."
Brian made David's home selling experience much easier by recommending quality professionals to use such as painters and cleaners. By providing the names of trustworthy professionals, David was able to get the necessary work done on his home when needed and with professional results.
When asked if he would recommend Brian to his family and friends, David didn't hesitate with a resounding, "Absolutely!"

"In 40 Years and Many Moves, Lauri is One of the Two Most Competent Realtors We’ve Ever Had"
Among the many, many moves that Linda and Carl Detrick have had over 40 years, they rank Lauri as one of only two competent real estate professionals they’ve ever worked with!
"Lauri was very professional and highly competent," says Linda Detrick. "We moved from Wyoming which made it difficult to try to handle a real estate transaction from so far away; however, Lauri was so good we were able to accomplish everything between the offer and the closing via email and telephone."
The Detricks were especially impressed with Lauri's follow up and her attention to detail. "Lauri took care of everything for us after we chose our home but before moving into it. She took care of all the details."
The piece of mind the Detricks received knowing that Lauri was working on their behalf to close the transaction of their new home was priceless. They have no hesitation in recommending Lauri or any other member of the Brian Chase Team to their family and friends.

"You Get What You Expect with this Service Professional.... and More!"
Because Fuller and Cynthia O’Connor had worked with Brian previously to purchase land, they were confident in his abilities to help them sell their home. In a buyers market, it can take quite some time to sell a home but Fuller was impressed with Brian’s focus. He continued to actively market their home and never got discouraged. Fuller said that, "Brian is a hard worker. He’s tenacious and has very good market knowledge. He has a wonderful website that attracts buyers to his listings."
Fuller added, "I’m in the service business as well and know that the customer always expects superior service but doesn’t always get it. With Brian you get everything you expect and more. He did a very good job in both of our transactions and I would happily refer him to anyone looking for real estate in the Charlottesville area."
Fuller & Cynthia O'Connor - Barboursville in Albemarle County
"Brian Made Our Purchase Easy!"
"Jan and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for your invaluable assistance during our recent purchase of a home in Charlottesville.
We are new to the Charlottesville area and essentially needed help with everything. You helped us find a mortgage broker who was able to work with our unique circumstances, a home inspector, a real estate attorney, and other service people in the area. You answered all our questions about Charlottesville and eased our minds about the whole process. This is our fourth home and we have to be honest this was the easiest one to purchase.
Thank you also for the lovely painting of our new home. We will treasure it forever. We would not hesitate to recommend you to any of our friends."

“Brian Handled Everything For Me; I Didn’t Even Have to Leave My Home!”
When Jane Hamilton decided to sell a home she owned that hadn’t been occupied for quite a while, she just wanted the whole thing to get done. Having been referred by a friend, Jane called Brian. She said he then took care of everything for her. In fact, the home sold so quickly they didn’t have time to advertise!
“I called Brian and told him what I had. He then went out to look at the home and found problems that needed to be fixed. He told me what they were and then gave me a list of people who could fix them. I never even had to leave my home. In fact, I never did meet Brian personally. He just took over and did everything for me!”
Jane describes Brian as very understanding, helpful and responsive. She was “extremely pleased” with the entire transaction.

"Brian Will Find You What You Are Looking For!"
Lynne and Ted Deucher had almost given up on finding their perfect home. But after working with Brian Chase, they finally found it.
Brian's ultimate professional approach and knowledge made it easy for Lynne and Ted to get the house of their dreams. "He made the whole experience so easy," said Ted. He took care of all the details so there wasn't much for Ted and Lynne to do but get ready to move into their new home.
"Brian is so good at what he does and he makes it so easy." This is why Ted and Lynne have recommended Brian to their friends and family. "He goes out of his way to help people. Brian's very thoughtful and careful. He does things properly so we didn't even have to think about it." Lynne added that Brian went beyond what she expected from a realtor. She said, "He lined up financing for us and provided a list of the utility companies for our convenience." Lynne said Brian was instrumental in amending the contract to include necessary repairs.
Ted added that he and Lynne will continue to recommend Brian to anyone looking for a house to buy because he knows the market and he truly understands people. "He will find you what you want."

"We Were Picky About Realtors but Found the Right One in Brian."
New home owners, Jane and Matt Lightfoot were very selective about the real estate professional they wanted to hire to help them find their new home. They had gone through quite a few before they found Brian Chase. They were excited when they found him to be nice, professional and very knowledgeable about the market.
Once they decided to use Brian’s services, they couldn’t be happier with his performance. Jane said, "Brian didn’t try to push us one way or the other on the homes we looked at." What’s more, Jane was impressed when Brian presented them with a watercolor portrait of their new home, a lasting reminder of the positive experience they had with Brian Chase.

"Brian's Thorough and Professional Guidance Netted Us Our 100 Acre Farm!"
"From our original contact to the contract to closing on our farm, our relationship with our Realtor, Brian Chase, was extremely thorough! Brian's constant attention to detail went from the contract negotiations to helping us with any and all questions and providing us with important information that was conducive to our particular situation. His friendly manner and professional way of articulating made the entire process an extreme pleasure."
Judith & George Truesdail - Long Shadows Farm in Albemarle County
"We Had None of the Relocation Obstacles I Anticipated"
"In trying to purchase a home in Virginia while living in NJ, I anticipated many obstacles and lots of stress. From the moment my husband and I chose to work with Brian, both of those things seemed to disappear. Between the internet links and email, we were able to communicate our interests and things moved along very nicely. We arranged a trip to VA and Brian drove us around the area to see the homes we had selected. He provided valuable information on the individual areas we were considering, and gave us advice when we asked for it. He answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable with the whole process. We found a beautiful new home in a great location, and none of it would be possible without Brian's honesty, hard work, and personal attention. It was a pleasure to work with someone who had a genuine interest in our happiness and satisfaction."
Lisa & Bob Fulfs - Fluvanna County
"Acting quickly got us our home!"
Peter and Rose Bartol had very specific criteria for the home they wanted to purchase. Brian showed them a very wide variety of homes and within that selection, the Bartol's found the home they wanted.
In Virginia, residential real estate offers are made by contract.
Soon after the seller had accepted the Bartol's offer, the seller received multiple higher offers. The seller had a strong incentive to get out of her contract with the Bartol's so she could accept a higher offer.
If Brian had not done such a professional job on the initial contract, the Bartol's would have lost the house.
"He did an excellent job. He was particularly savvy and very professional," Peter said of Brian.
"If you're looking for a professional real estate agent who will go above and beyond your expectations, call Brian."

"Your Online Services Were a Great Help in Our Relocation"
"We want to thank you for your excellent service. The ease of the process of finding a new home was greatly facilitated by our using the online access system that you designed. It enabled us to obtain detailed information concerning homes that were available in the Charlottesville area and, as a result, we were able to select those to see before coming to town -- a real time saver. This system, coupled with your unflagging willingness to show us the many properties that were of interest, was a tremendous asset in our finding the right home.
We also appreciate your patience and helpfulness in responding to our many questions about both the properties themselves and living in the Charlottesville area in general. Especially for strangers to the area, your local knowledge and contacts were most helpful indeed. We really enjoyed working with you as you made it so easy. Please feel free to give our names as references to any prospective clients."

"Brian's Background and Skills Were Invaluable to this Couple Moving from Canada."
If you've got a complicated move ahead of you, there is no better agent than Brian Chase. When professor Ian Skurnik left his teaching position at the University of Toronto for a job at the University of Virginia, he knew the home buying process was going to be complicated. He said, "We had a complex situation moving from Canada to the U.S. There were delays such as the regulation regarding transferring over $10,000 over the border as well as trying to get a credit report issued after not having lived in the States for six years. Brian was so patient and friendly. Not once did he make us feel as if he was not anything but completely devoted to our best interests."
Ian believes Brian's MBA sets him apart from other agents. He was impressed by Brian's "rare combination of background and skills." He said, "He knows ever aspect of the real estate market, from complicated mortgage arrangements to tax implications of property ownership."
What's more, with Brian's familiarity of Charlottesville and the area, he is up-to-date on all new developments in the area and any plans for new developments. "He's extremely savvy regarding the business aspect of the real estate market and particularly the tax implications of owning a second or third home."
Brian was able to provide suggestions for Ian and his wife Linda Gettig when they were in disagreement about the features of the homes they visited. This helped them find a home on which they could both agree.
Ian said, "I would definitely recommend Brian to anyone but especially those who have a complex situation as we did moving from Canada to the States."

"Brian Never Once Wasted My Time"
"If you've ever watched HouseHunters on TLC and wondered if agents ever listen to what their clients want, rest easy. Brian never once wasted my time and was incredibly tolerant when I wasted his on a house that just wasn't right. I thought I'd done a lot of preparation for the home search, but I learned as much from the process with Brian as I had in my previous 6 years of home ownership. I love learning, but I hate being taught. I don't know who said it first, but that describes me. Many folks I've encountered in real estate set out to teach me, but Brian let me learn. It couldn't have been the most direct path to a sale for him, but it was the best path for me to find the house I wanted. And I did! Thank you Brian!"

"If You Get the Chance to Work with The Chase Team, Do It!"
Lisa and Andy Friedman believe that not every agent would be as patient as Lisa Pawlina was with them. Being wheelchair bound makes some days more of a struggle for Mrs. Friedman than others but Lisa was extremely understanding of her limitations. Lisa worked with Mrs. Friedman's daily energy level and around her schedule. She trusted Lisa to show her only the houses she would be interested in saving her a lot of time and energy from looking at homes that she wouldn't care for. The Friedman's physically visited over 30 homes before they found the home that was right for them. They even put bids on two other homes but were outbid on one and ran into a problem with the other. The Friedman's found a house they really wanted but due to a black mold problem - and a seller that was not willing to do mold remediation - they withdrew their offer. With Lisa's help, they knew what problems they could live with and what they couldn't.
They finally decided on the house "on top of the mountain" where they are learning the benefits of living at a higher altitude including being 10 degrees cooler - a huge incentive with the soaring summer temperatures. Mrs. Friedman was so impressed with Lisa's professionalism and knowledge that she said, "Lisa has the knowledge of someone that's been in the business for 10 years or more."
The Friedman's have already recommended Lisa Pawlina and The Chase Team to their friends and family. They tell them how honest and hardworking they are and that they always put their clients first. Mrs. Friedman said, "If you ever get the chance to work with them, do it! They are so much fun."
Lisa & Andy Friedman - Greene County
"Got Real Estate Problems? Brian Can Solve Them."
When Victor and Victoria Villar-Gosalvez went looking for a house to buy, they never dreamed it could be so easy. They bought the third home they looked at!
If they had any problems, Brian was able to solve them. He arranged financing for the Gosalvez's and recommended a great attorney, all without any pressure. "Brian is not pushy like so many other Realtors®. He was there when we needed him but didn't hover over us all the time."
Would the Gosalvez's recommend Brian and his team to their friends and family? Absolutely! In fact, they're about ready to sell another piece of property and Brian will be handling that transaction too. Brian was instrumental in helping them get $125,000 more for the land they sold prior to buying their home.
Victoria says, "I have the highest confidence in Brian. I can't recommend him enough."

"He Made Us Feel Like We Were the Only Clients He Had."
When Tracey and John purchased their home with the help of Brian Chase, they never expected such individual attention. He was always available for these buyers who weren't even sure what they wanted when they began looking for a home to buy. With his patience and sense of humor, Brian made Tracey and John feel relaxed and comfortable so they could take their time and find just the right home. They knew they were in competent hands.
"Brian is the ultimate professional. He was so easy to work with," remarked Tracey. "He went beyond our expectations and gave us wonderful resources for such things as inspections, painting, roofing, etc. He had a resource for everything."

"Brian's Professional Knowledge and Dedication Enabled Us to Find Our Ideal Retirement Home"
"Fate would have it that our two children, Mark and Hana, would attend both undergraduate and graduate schools at the University of Virginia. Ten years of driving to graduations, football and basketball games, cultural events, visiting the great restaurants and shops of Charlottesville made us fall in love with the charm of Mr. Jefferson’s university, the city itself and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.
We could not have picked a more ideal location and suitable new home to build as a 'retirement' home without your professional knowledge and dedication every step of the way. We have been living and working overseas now in the Foreign Service for 28 years and we have bought, sold and rented out a number of homes. Never have we had the pleasure of dealing with a more honest, thoughtful, humorous and knowledgeable real estate professional than you. Your knowledge and sense of professional courtesy in dealing with builders, local county laws, landscapers, rental agencies, and local lawyers were superb and all your recommendations were right on target."
Joe & Suga Carney - Fontana in Charlottesville
"Thanks to Brian, Buying Our First Home Was Very Simple, Even Fun"
"When people ask me about buying our first house, I always smile -- which usually surprises them. As young people who worked full time and were bound by a strict budget, the process should have been arduous, but thanks to Brian, it was really very simple, even fun! Our needs were very specific: since we planned to both work and live in the home, we were looking for the perfect fit at the right price. And of course there were our pets to consider (4 cats, a dog, and an indoor/outdoor turtle). Brian not only helped match us to the perfect place, but he made all the details clear and easy to understand, ensuring that we could make the best decisions every step of the way. My 4 cats, now 2 dogs, and turtle are now settled in a home that could have been made just for us -- we couldn't be happier!"
